How to convert your videos to GIFs
Hello!
I’ve turned a few of my videos into GIFs, mostly as jokes, but I have done it enough times that I figured out how to streamline it.
There are plenty of ways to do it, but I like these two methods, mostly because it gives me a few options and also doesn’t slap a watermark on it when I’m done.
Keynote
Open Keynote and create new presentation.
Hit the “+” sign at the top and select your video.
Hit the share button, scroll down and select “Export and send”
Select “Animated GIF” and choose your settings. I always go with Large 720x405, 15 frames per second (fps).
Now hit “Export”
Now you can share it!
🏆Congrats!🎉 You did it. 🎊
GIPHY (this requires a login first)
Go to GIPHY and create a login
Hit “+” and upload from Camera Roll
Trim (if necessary) then “Continue to Upload”
Add tags (I never do, but you can if you want to) then “Upload”.
Copy image to use, or right-click or press hold and “Save image as”
Congrats!🎉 You did it twice now!
